Whether your background is in consultancy, academia, research, industry or the public sector, this role offers the opportunity to apply strong analytical expertise within a collaborative, commercially focused environment. You'll also contribute to the continued development of our analytical capability; improving workflows, supporting junior analysts and helping shape best practice in environmental data science.

Proven ability to manage and deliver projects to time, budget and quality standards
Excellent technical report writing skills
The ability to explain complex statistical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Confidence communicating professionally with clients and colleagues
It's a bonus if you have:
Experience working in a commercial consultancy or client-facing environment
Experience contributing to proposals or research funding applications
Specialist expertise in Bayesian statistics, time series analysis or machine learning
Experience with RShiny, geospatial tools (ArcGIS or QGIS), SQL databases or Python
Awareness of UK environmental policy and regulatory frameworks
Membership of a relevant professional body
A valid driving licence
