Job Description

NTU International A/S is seeking an Environmental & Social Impact Specialist for a project in Bulgaria, starting July 2025, lasting 20 months. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Environmental Science or related fields, with at least 10 years of experience in environmental and social impact assessments. Proficiency in GIS and knowledge of EU regulations are preferred. The position requires excellent English communication skills.
NTU International A/S is a leading consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex. We are searching for experts to support the core team during the project's implementation.

Location: Bulgaria.

Duration: The project will commence in July 2025, with a 20-month implementation period.
Key Expert: Environmental & Social Impact Specialist (Cat. II)
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Environmental Engineering (minimum requirement).
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (minimum requirement).
• Proficiency in GIS and environmental impact modelling tools is an asset.
General Professional Experience:
• At least 10 years of professional experience in environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) for energy and industrial projects (minimum requirement).
Specific Professional Experience:
• Expertise in EU environmental regulations, permitting, and impact mitigation strategies is an asset.
• Experience conducting Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) and EIA compliance assessments for renewable energy and industrial projects is an asset.
