Riveron is seeking an Associate Director for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in Wisconsin. Environmental, Social, and Governance - Associate Director

In today's evolving business landscape, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts have emerged as critical success factors. Businesses seek partners who share similar ESG perspectives, and compliance requirements are on the rise. Many companies struggle with developing effective ESG programs and disclosing their impact. Investors, in particular, have unique disclosure needs to understand how corporate sustainability initiatives ultimately decrease investment risk.

Our ESG services include Peer Benchmarking, Framework Alignment and Reporting, Creating and Communicating your ESG Message, and Meeting SEC Climate Rules.

Who You Are:
• JD, MBA or BA in Economics, Finance, Sustainability, Human Capital, Human Resources, Sustainable Accounting or related fields or equivalent industry experience
• 8+ years of experience in consulting, project management, client services, writing, and communications
• 6+ years of experience identifying, implementing, and supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives
• Deep expertise with ESG standards, frameworks, and ratings including TCFD, SASB, CDP, UN SDGs, GRI, MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, etc.
• Proven track record in client service, business development, leadership, and consulting
• Strong research, analytical, and data skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and database management
• Interest in financial markets, corporate strategy, ESG, and investor relations
• Certifications related to SASB or TCFD are preferred

What You'll Do:
• Oversee ESG engagements, manage client expectations, and lead change efforts
• Support growth of Riveron's ESG practice by identifying and measuring ESG risks and opportunities
• Support business development through your network and knowledge of Riveron's offerings
• Lead and facilitate client meetings, prepare presentations, and guide discussions
• Manage creation of deliverables such as project materials, benchmarking decks, research memorandums, and status updates
• Lead team members to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables
• Manage client ESG disclosures for tracking and reporting to stakeholders
• Assist with peer benchmarking, data analysis, and chart creation
• Serve as primary liaison and quality reviewer for deliverables
• Mentor and develop future ESG leaders, providing performance feedback

The expected pay range for this position is $125,000 - $188,000 (excluding bonuses, equity, or benefits). This range considers factors such as experience, skills, certifications, location, and organizational needs.
