Job Description
UCHealth is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Technician in Greeley, CO, responsible for maintaining a sanitary environment by cleaning patient rooms and other areas, following isolation protocols, and stocking supplies. The role requires critical thinking and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. • FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
• Shift: Days
• Pay: $18.54 - $24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary
Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.
Responsibilities
• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
