Mainehealth is seeking an Environmental Services Team Member in Belfast, ME, to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in their facilities, ensuring safety for patients and staff. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas within the facility.
Follow established protocols and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas.
Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Communicate any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of illness and disease.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes and prioritize duties as needed.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
Uphold the organization's standards and values, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for all.
Attend training and development sessions to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
Maintain confidentiality of all patient and facility information.
Follow proper waste disposal procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Provide exceptional customer service and respond to any requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.
Serve as a positive role model for other team members and promote a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Adhere to all safety regulations and participate in safety training programs.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility.
Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Supervisor or Manager.
