Job Description
SpiriTrust Lutheran is hiring Environmental Services Team Members for housekeeping at The Village at Sprenkle Drive in York, PA. Responsibilities include cleaning, floor care, and handling hazardous waste. The role requires adaptability and knowledge of cleaning procedures. This is a full-time position with no degree required. SpiriTrust Lutheran® seeks Occasional Environmental Services Team Members – Housekeeping at The Village at Sprenkle Drive in York, PA.
General Responsibilities:
• Tasks include mopping, buffing stripping and waxing floors, carpet care, general housekeeping and cleaning on various shifts, and trash removal.
• Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position with minimal supervision.
• Ability to buff, polish and strip floors using heavy equipment in an orderly condition.
• Ability to handle hazardous waste in the proper manner. Knowledge of S.D.S. (Safety Data Sheets) regulations.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents, equipment, and methods of soil removal.
