Environmental Scientist/Project Manager

GLE is looking for an Environmental Scientist/Project Manager in our Atlanta office to join our growing team. Who as a member of our collaborative team, will help provide outstanding client service through creativity and technical expertise We offer a competitive salary, benefits package and bonus opportunities.

Job Description:
• Perform Phase I/II ESA’s, UST Closure Assessments and Site Assessments and

general field sampling (soil and ground water).

· Ability to lead high profile client interactions and identify business development opportunities.

· Prepare technical reports and proposals
• Preparation of detailed Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), work plans and maps

· Strong technical writing, analytical and oral communication skills.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

· Ability to manage time effectively and meet firm deadlines.
• Budget management and close interaction with clients

Job Requirements:
• BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Hygiene/Safety
• 5-7 years minimum experience in sampling, assessments, planning, and reporting
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide unsurpassed customer response and satisfaction
• Possibility of working nights and weekends is required
• Valid driver’s license as field work and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation
