Responsibilities

NV5, is seeking a motivated Environmental Science & Transportation Planning Intern to join our Natural Resources Department with opportunities to collaborate on transportation planning projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in environmental fieldwork, data analysis, GIS mapping, and technical reporting, offering valuable exposure to both natural resource management and infrastructure planning.

Qualifications
• Must be a rising junior or senior, recent graduate or graduate student in civil engineering, biology, ecology, environmental engineering, or other related curriculum.
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to research regulations that impact transportation and development
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of ArcGIS a plus
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to employment
