Environmental Scientist - Full-time

LaBella Associates is hiring an entry-level Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer for their Chattanooga, TN office. The role involves supporting ecological projects, such as wetland delineations and hydrological determinations, along with technical report writing. Candidates should have a BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geology, with 0-5 years of experience preferred. We are currently hiring an entry level Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer in our Environmental division at our Chattanooga, TN office. The Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer will support ecological projects, such as wetland and stream delineations, Tennessee Hydrological Determinations, threatened and endangered species review, and Section 401/404 Permitting. Manager. A successful candidate will be able to perform various tasks including field work, reporting writing, and support project managers on various projects.

Duties
• Assist with wetland/stream delineations and habitat assessments
• Assist with Tennessee Hydrological Determinations
• Technical report writing and section 401/404 permitting.

Requirements
• 0-5 Years of experience required /preferred
• BS in Environmental Science, Engineering. or Geology preferred
• MS Office Suite
• Strong communication skills
• GIS experience a plus
