Position: Environmental Scientist - Air Testing Specialist This entry-level role is part of our Integrated Air Services (IAS) Group. Weston’s IAS team conducts testing projects to assist clients in emissions testing and demonstrating emissions compliance with industry-specific regulations set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 40 – Protection of Environment. Projects typically involve measuring air emissions directly from industrial sources and/or the ambient air in the vicinity using state-of-the-art instrumentation housed in mobile laboratories.

Location: West Chester, PA

Expected Outcomes:
• Perform scientific emissions testing procedures utilizing EPA or ASTM Test Methodologies.
• Work safely in a positive enterprise and team environment.
• Travel up to 75%, primarily within the Mid-Atlantic Region, with potential assignments in other US regions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• BS or AS degree in Environmental Science, Physical Science, or Engineering preferred. Technical High School graduates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Testing experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job technical and safety training provided.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn technical sampling techniques, work with a team, work outdoors at elevation, and lift up to 50 lbs.
