Job Responsibilities & Job Duties:
• Conduct field investigations for Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, site investigations, including soil logging, air monitoring, and groundwater well installation.
• Support environmental compliance activities, such as EPCRA reporting, stormwater and wastewater documentation, and aboveground and underground storage tank documentation
• Perform clearance air sampling after building renovation activities.
• Collect building material samples for asbestos and/or lead analysis.
• Responsible for working with multiple clients and contractors in both the commercial and government sectors.
• Communicate with clients to ensure successful and timely completion of all projects.
• Investigate and research property conditions and histories to determine potential for environmental contamination.
• The candidate will compile data, write data quality reports, review reports, and assist with proposals.
• Communicate with field personnel to achieve field mobilization goals.
• Coordinate laboratory analyses for evaluation of surface water, groundwater, and soil samples.
• Travel up to 25% of the time for field assignments, including occasional two-week site mobilizations across the U.S. and internationally.
• All other duties assigned as needed

Minimum Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in environmental site assessment, investigation, and/or characterization projects.
• Strong task and project execution skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Technical writing expertise for clear and effective reports.
• Experienced in environmental sampling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software used in environmental analysis.
• Creative problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges.
• Ability to perform multiple projects and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Qualifications:
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem-solving skills and able to work well independently
• Computer literacy is a must and proficient with Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• GIS/GPS experience is preferred
• Certified Asbestos Inspector or Inspector/Management Planner
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Department of Defense background check
