Environmental Scientist

Alivia Group is hiring an Environmental Scientist for a full-time position in Lockland, Ohio. Responsibilities include assisting with environmental operations, compliance, reporting, and sustainability research. Candidates should have experience in sustainability, the manufacturing industry, and knowledge of environmental science. Familiarity with EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations is also required.
Our is seeking an Environmental Scientist to fill a Direct Hire opening in Lockland, OH!

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the environmental and safety operations
• Assist with the compliance, reporting & record keeping
• Research environmental sustainability issues or concerns
• Enforcement of Sustainability & Environmental Policy, Procedures, Plans, Programs
• Monitor, report, and evaluate effectiveness of sustainability program implementations.
• Internal and external compliance audits
• Conduct Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions resulting from non-conformances
• Update Vendor Audits

Qualifications:
• Previous experience with sustainability is required
• Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
• Knowledge of environmental science and greenhouse gas offset (CO2e) measurement methods and theories.
• Previous experience with EPA, OSHA, and DOT
• Hazard recognition
• Computer skills
