Environmental Science Teacher: Grade 12

The Arizona School for the Arts is seeking a full-time Environmental Science Teacher for 12th Grade in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves designing and delivering a curriculum that integrates knowledge from Geology, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, focusing on Earth's interconnected systems. This faculty member designs and delivers curriculum to 12th Grade students in Environmental Science. The program is a multi-disciplinary exploration of Earth’s natural systems. The course requires students to synthesize knowledge acquired through their years of study at the school in Geology, Chemistry, Physics and Biology into a comprehensive understanding of Earth as a single interconnected system. The students participate in activities including modeling, collaborative learning, and culminate their years at the school with a white paper and presentation. This instructor will facilitate Honors levels of instruction.
