Job Description

The Arizona School for the Arts is seeking a full-time Environmental Science Teacher for 12th Grade in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves designing and delivering a curriculum that integrates knowledge from Geology, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, focusing on Earth's interconnected systems. Students will engage in collaborative learning and complete a white paper and presentation. Candidates must submit a cover letter, resume, references, and an application.
This faculty member designs and delivers curriculum to 12th Grade students in Environmental Science. The program is a multi-disciplinary exploration of Earth’s natural systems. The course requires students to synthesize knowledge acquired through their years of study at the school in Geology, Chemistry, Physics and Biology into a comprehensive understanding of Earth as a single interconnected system. The students participate in activities including modeling, collaborative learning, and culminate their years at the school with a white paper and presentation. This instructor will facilitate Honors levels of instruction.
