The University of New Mexico is seeking a part-time Environmental Science Instructor for lower division courses in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management. Candidates should hold a Master's degree and have relevant teaching experience. Responsibilities include teaching, developing course materials, and assessing student performance. Instructor Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced instructor to teach lower division courses in our Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management program. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about teaching and want to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Course Information:
The following courses are available for teaching: BIOL 1110 - General Biology, BIOL 1110L - General Biology Lab, FORS 2020 - Terrestrial Ecology, FORS 2030 - Water Resources, GEOL 1110 - Physical Geology, GEOL 1110L - Physical Geology Lab, SUST 1134 - Introduction to Sustainability Studies, and ENVS 1130 - The Blue Planet. These courses provide students with a comprehensive understanding of environmental science concepts and principles.

Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching assigned courses, developing course materials, assessing student performance, and maintaining accurate records. Instructors will also be expected to participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and academic programs.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in the discipline or subfield in which they are applying to teach. Relevant work experience, higher education teaching experience, and familiarity with land and water management organizations are preferred qualifications. A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success is essential.
