Responsibilities
• Assist with environmental restoration projects under the direction of CER staff.

• Perform field work including stream restoration, erosion control, and riparian habitat restoration.

• Control exotic invasive plant species and participate in tree planting and native seed collection.

• Conduct environmental assessments, including macroinvertebrates collection and stream habitat assessments.

• Utilize tools such as chain saws, backpack sprayers, hand or power tools, and survey equipment.

• Process data using Excel spreadsheets and/or GIS.
Requirements
• Must be a student with a minimum GPA of 2.0.

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting up to and above 50 lbs.

• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and/or walk for extended periods.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Preference for students pursuing degrees in environmental science or natural science.
