Job Description

GREEN ENVIRONMENTS LLC is hiring an Environmental Remediation Technician in Todmorden, UK. The role involves hands-on work in construction and environmental remediation across various settings, including residential and commercial properties. Key responsibilities include performing renovations, assisting with HVAC and remediation projects, and adhering to safety protocols. The position is hourly (30-40 hours per week) with potential for full-time employment based on performance.

We are seeking an organized, energetic individual with hands‑on technical experience in construction-related trades and an interest in environmental remediation, restoration, and mechanical repair. This role supports a variety of residential, commercial, marine, and landscaping projects, including work in attics and crawlspaces.

This is an hourly position (30–40 hours per week) involving both indoor and outdoor work, sometimes in physically demanding or harsh environments. Based on experience and performance, opportunities for full‑time employment with benefits and additional training may be available.
Key Responsibilities

As part of a multi‑disciplinary team, you will:
• Perform renovation and remediation work in residential, commercial, and marine environments, including attics and crawlspaces
• Complete light carpentry repairs and assist with HVAC ductwork
• Assist with environmental remediation projects, including mold, water damage, and other hazardous material concerns
• Maintain awareness of OSHA standards and follow all safety protocols
• Pursue and maintain relevant certifications and training (e.g., mold remediation, asbestos awareness, lead‑based paint)
• Support abatement, mitigation, and repair services for a variety of environmental conditions
• Interact professionally with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
• Help organize work vehicles and maintain clean, safe, and efficient job sites
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in construction, maintenance, mechanical repair, or related trades
• Familiarity with environmental remediation practices (mold, asbestos, lead, water damage)
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Willingness to work in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics) and outdoor conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail (asbestos/mold/water damage/etc.) for commercial and residential clients.
• Interact and present professionally with clients and coworkers.
• Assist in organizing work trucks and maintaining structured safe and efficient project sites.
