About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Affairs Officer to join our team at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. As a key member of our Public Land Administration Section, you will work closely with the Parks, Forests & Historic Sites and Fish & Wildlife programs to create leases, licenses, concession agreements, and other documents.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing legal documents, negotiating agreements with outside parties, assisting in the analysis of administrative processes, and serving as the liaison between the Section and the Division of Law. You will also be responsible for providing legal support for the enforcement of agreements and responding to inquiries from the public and other DEP programs.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of environmental protection laws and regulations, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
