Job Description

We are seeking an organized full-time Project Environmental Scientist to oversee complex environmental projects in Nevada and California. This project-level position involves preparing work plans, technical documents, and reports for federal, state, and local agencies, as well as developing the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects from our diverse portfolio and managing budgets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in earth or environmental science related field
• Five or more years of experience in geological assessments, water supply, water treatment, environmental assessments, contaminant investigation, contaminant remediation, storm water management, wastewater treatment, permitting projects, or compliance projects in the public and private sectors
• Consulting experience
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience interacting with governmental regulatory agencies
• Demonstrated ability to properly manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with deliverable timelines
• Professional Registration/Certification or ability to attain within two years of hire
• Ability to travel within the western regional US
