About the position
The Environmental Project Manager - Assessment & Remediation at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is responsible for the daily management of all phases of complex environmental projects. This role requires a high level of independence and self-sufficiency, as Project Managers are expected to prepare project proposals and budgets, write technical project reports, and maintain project budgets. Additionally, they will perform project invoicing, review daily field reports prepared by field staff, and conduct peer reviews of deliverables prepared by other Project Managers. Regular interaction with clients is a key aspect of this position, including developing a client database and attending industry marketing events to generate new project opportunities. In this role, you will also be expected to interact with and train junior staff members on various environmental projects, assisting Senior Staff as needed, which may include performing fieldwork. The position requires a proactive approach to project management and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the ECS client database. Professional training courses may be required to ensure that the Project Manager remains up-to-date with industry standards and practices.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of related experience in environmental project management.

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license is preferred.
