Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking an Environmental Project Manager in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves managing environmental projects, ensuring compliance with contracts, and interfacing with clients. Candidates should have a BS degree in a relevant field and at least ten years of experience in environmental project management. Knowledge of federal regulations and project controls is essential. The position requires U.S. citizenship and may involve travel and off-hours work.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Project Manager needed who is responsible for providing direct day-to-day management for assigned projects with regards to scope, schedule, budget/cost and quality. Interface with clients and ensure project task orders are completed in accordance with the contract. Assist with technical approach and cost estimates for RFPs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
• BS degree in geology, geoscience, environmental science, or an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience managing environmental investigations, feasibility assessments and remediation (HTRW).
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management (budgeting/cost, scope/technical, procurement and subcontract management).
• Demonstrated experience with proposal development (technical approach and costestimate).
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience and preferred experience is with DOE.
• Working knowledge of project controls functions to include scheduling (Microsoft ProjectSchedule) and cost tracking and estimating.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Understanding of quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) processes and project/work/technical procedures (SOPs).
• Knowledgeable in federal regulatory laws, regulations and guidelines including CAA,CERCLA, CWA, DOT, NEPA, NRC, RCRA, SARA, and TSCA.
• Knowledgeable in federal regulatory laws, regulations and guidelines regarding radiological remediation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Professional Geologist (PG)
• Professional Engineer (PE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Experience with Environmental work in Texas and Ohio

Special Requirements:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid state drivers license.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Government clearance.
• Must be available for standby assignments and work scheduled off-hours and emergencies as required.
• Must be able to travel as required.

Supervision Received:
• Reports to and receives supervision from the Program Manager for assigned business unit.

Supervision Exercised:
• Supervise project personnel and Subcontractors.

Interface Required:
• Interfaces with all staff, project personnel, corporate administrative support staff, customers, vendors and regulatory agencies.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Work Environment:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to normal office conditions when not in the field.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• When in the field, employee may be exposed to construction or environmental hazards, extreme weather conditions, and loud noise.
