Environmental Project Manager

Converse Consultants is hiring an Environmental Project Manager for their State College, PA office. The role requires experience with USTIF projects, project management, site investigations, and report writing. A Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related fields and at least 5 years of consulting experience are necessary. Desired skills include asbestos and lead consulting, as well as GIS proficiency. This is a full-time position.
Converse Consultants is seeking a highly qualified Environmental Manager for our State College, PA office. The ideal candidate must have experience with Pennsylvania Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund (USTIF) projects. Without this experience, applicants will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
• General project management
• Performing Phase I and Phase II site investigations
• Site characterization and site closure report writing
• Skills related to Brownfields
• Asbestos and lead consulting (desirable)
• GIS experience (desirable)

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in environmental science, geology, or hydrogeology (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of environmental consulting experience
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards
• Ability to work independently
• Acceptable driving record for company insurance carrier

Desired Skills:
• Experience with asbestos and lead consulting
• Proficiency in GIS
