U.S. Bank is seeking an Environmental Finance Project Manager in Minneapolis, MN, responsible for leading the underwriting and negotiation of complex renewable energy loans. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree with extensive experience or an MBA/JD with relevant experience, along with strong financial modeling and communication skills.
Environmental Finance Project Manager (PM)
About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Environmental Finance Project Manager to join our growing team of environmental project finance professionals. As a PM, you will be responsible for leading the underwriting, structuring, negotiating, and closing complex renewable energy loans and related products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in early-stage review of potential loans, complex deal structures, programs, and partners
• Engage and manage third-party professionals, including attorneys, accountants, consultants, and engineers
• Review complex legal documents pertaining to structured credit arrangements; negotiate and mitigate risks on behalf of U.S. Bank Impact Finance
• Analyze financial models, identify underwriting, cash flow, and accounting risks
• Lead preparation of high-quality underwriting packages, describing strengths, weaknesses, risks, and mitigating factors
• Closed transactions in accordance with bank policies, managing customer expectations and timelines
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and eight or more years of related experience OR MBA/JD with five or more years of directly related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Advanced knowledge of financial modeling techniques and analysis of proforma financial statements
• Comprehensive understanding of complex project finance transactions, loan documentation, and deal structure mechanics
• Familiarity with standard banking processes and procedures, including managing to credit policies and procedures
• Excellent time management skills, ability to effectively manage client timelines and needs
• Effective listener and advanced communication skills, both oral and written
