Environmental Policy Manager - Automotive Sector £50,000 - £60,000 South West London (hybrid) Our client is an established organisation in the Automotive sector. They are looking for someone to join their Environment/Sustainability team who has an understanding of environmental policies from an EU and UK regulation perspective.You will have a proactive response to dealing with regulatory activities in batteries, chemicals, waste and resource management and as well as circular economy. You will advise and consult with colleagues and stakeholders to shape policies and regulations in these areas. THE ROLE To lead with circular economy policies and developments, both nationally and internationally, through engagement with members and other stakeholders involved in the field. To lead the implementation for UK REACH for the UK automotive sector. To liaise and consult with member companies, government and key stakeholders on all relevant subjects and documents; to solicit member input to create an evidence base and draft influential proposals, positions, responses, papers and presentations as required. To represent all views at meetings of the relevant industry, governmental and stakeholder bodies in the UK and international arena and influence the work of relevant organisations’ working groups as appropriate.
