About the Position

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our operations comply with all applicable environmental regulations, permits, authorizations, and agreements. As an Environmental Policy Coordinator, you will manage regional programs, prepare environmental reports, and represent the Company in verbal and written interactions with federal, state, and local environmental agencies.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with 6+ years of progressive experience in environmental compliance. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will enable you to interpret regulations, provide training to company personnel, and develop environmental scopes of work.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage regional programs to ensure operations compliance with applicable environmental regulations, permits, authorizations, and agreements.
• Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of environmental reports to various environmental agencies.
• Represent the Company in verbal and written interaction with federal, state, and local environmental agencies, industry meetings, and public hearings.
• Maintain a proficient knowledge of current federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations that impact natural gas transmission operations.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred in Applied Science, Engineering, or other equivalent education.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in environmental compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Environmental and Regulatory permitting with local, state, and federal government agencies for gas and liquid pipeline facilities.
