Clean Water Action is hiring Environmental Organizers in Minneapolis, MN, to advocate for environmental policies and engage the community through canvassing. Company Description
Founded during the campaign to pass the Clean Water Act in 1972, Clean Water Action is a national environmental nonprofit focused on organizing grassroots support to elect environmental candidates and solve environmental and community problems. Clean Water Action has been in Minnesota since 1982, focusing on finding solutions to health, consumer, environmental and community problems, developing strong, community-based environmental leadership, and working for policies that improve lives and protect water.

Want to engage in environmental advocacy in Minnesota? Make a real impact on policy change?
Clean Water Action MN is seeking environmental activists to join our field canvass team who are looking to make a difference to protect and defend our pristine Minnesota environment. We work to hold our elected officials accountable to their constituents, fight to pass progressive environmental policy in the state legislature, and work to get the best candidates possible elected to office.
We’re active in communities around Minnesota, mobilizing support for our legislative agenda to protect clean water; reduce single-use waste; fight climate change; strengthen and enforce toxic chemical regulations, and more.
We want folks who are passionate about the environment and improving people's lives to help us push back against monied interests, and to keep Minnesota clean.
Responsibilities:
• Canvass members of the public to inform about our campaigns, and the campaigns of endorsed elected officials;
• Recruit and mobilize Clean Water Action members;
• Raise funds from individual donors to support our legislative policy agenda.

Work Location: In person
Schedule:
• 2:00PM-9:30PM
• Monday through Friday (full-time and part-time available)
