Lilly is seeking a full-time Environmental Monitoring Technician in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves routine and investigational environmental monitoring in classified manufacturing and support areas, ensuring compliance with cGMPs, and maintaining data integrity. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably experience in environmental monitoring or manufacturing. The position requires physical activity, including lifting and standing for extended periods, and may involve shifts and overtime.

The Environmental Monitoring Technician will perform routine and investigational environmental monitoring of classified manufacturing, filling, and support areas, as well as utility monitoring support. Support daily/weekly/monthly EM laboratory operations.
• *Responsibilities:
+ Support production operations by means of viable/non-viable EM sampling of classified manufacturing, filling, utilities, and support areas.
+ Support daily EM laboratory operations and process/equipment qualification activities as necessary.
+ Perform routine and investigational monitoring of direct impact utilities in parenteral operations and support areas.
+ Ensures compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and maintain constant inspection-readiness.
+ Ensures that data-integrity is maintained
+ Participate in process streamlining and continuous performance improvement.
+ Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals
• *Basic Requirements:**
+ High School Graduate or equivalent.
+ Post-Offer testing exam may be required.
• *Additional Preferences:
+ Strong understanding of cGMPs.
+ Understanding of regulatory standards / requirements for Environmental Monitoring.
+ Knowledge of / familiarity with parenteral production environments and operations.
+ Strong computer skills, documentation skills and attention to detail.
+ Responsible for working safely and maintaining a safe work environment and working safely.
+ Environmental Monitoring experience preferred.
+ Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
+ Experience in Aseptic Processing, QC, QA, Technical Services, or Regulatory is desirable.
+ Technical writing and written communication skills are a plus.
• *Other Information:
+ Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with potential to work shifts and weekends.
+ Must be able to lift 30 pounds and be able to pass, push, and pull to execute specific aspects of job duty.
+ Overtime may be required.
+ EM Technician tasks involve repetitive motions.
+ Must be able to stand / walk for extended periods of time.
