Job Description

Amphastar Pharmaceuticals Inc. is hiring an Environmental Monitoring Technician for the 2nd shift (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM) in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The role involves monitoring production and lab areas, operating and cleaning laboratory equipment, performing environmental monitoring and water sampling, and managing micro supplies. A high school diploma and 1-2 years of related experience are preferred. The position offers a salary of $21.00 - $22.80 per hour and benefits including health insurance and paid time off. The Environmental Monitoring Technician will monitor the Production and Lab areas at a pharmaceutical manufacturing company located in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

SHIFT AVAILABLE: • 2nd Shift: Monday- Friday; 12:00PM - 8:30PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: • Operates, cleans laboratory equipment and instruments such as met-one, autoclaves, refrigerators, incubators as well as work areas. • Performs environmental monitoring of clean room areas. • Performs water sampling of required systems. • Receive Micro supplies and log in appropriate logbook. • Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School diploma, and one to two years related experience and/or training is preferred.

These laws and regulations require Amphastar to provide government agencies with information such as a health care provider’s name, address and the type of payments or other value received, generally for public disclosure.
