Environmental Monitoring /Lab Technician- Microbiology

Tekgroup is hiring an Environmental Monitoring/Lab Technician in Santa Monica, CA. Responsibilities include monitoring cleanrooms, collecting water samples, performing microbiological assays, and assisting in investigations of out-of-specification results. The position requires 5 years of experience in environmental monitoring and microbiological assays. It is a full-time, contract role with a pay range of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
• Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms including surface, viable air, non-viable air, and personnel monitoring (including gowning in clean rooms grade A, B,C and D, or ISO 5, ISO 7, ISO 8.).
• Collect water samples to ensure all sample collected per schedule and tested on time
• Perform and review microbiological assays such as Gram Stain, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Identification, Growth Promotion, Bioburden and Plate Reading
• Data entry and data trend as needed.
• Assist in investigations regarding out of specifications (OOS) results, address and manage deviations related to micro procedures.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:
• environmental monitoring in cleanroom: 5 years (Preferred)
• microbiological assays (e.g., Gram Stain, sterility testing): 5 years (Preferred)
