Job Overview

TIC Power is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead and oversee environmental management practices and permitting compliance for our construction operations. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and experience managing design and construction environmental compliance for large-scale projects.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead environmental compliance and permitting for construction operations.
• Identify, assess, and reduce environmental risks to the company.
• Update environmental plans and perform field inspections and monitoring.
• Protect sensitive environmental areas and maintain project data tracking requirements.
• Monitor and forecast environmental costs at the project level.
• Develop and conduct environmental protection and awareness training.
• Function as a principal technical advisor and coordinator for environmental issues.
Qualifications
• Minimum undergraduate degree in environmental health or engineering field.
• 10+ years' experience in environmental compliance for large-scale construction projects.
• Qualified Environmental Professional designation preferred.
• Working knowledge of Provincial and Federal environmental legislation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
