Environmental Manager Role at Skanska
Skanska is seeking a skilled Environmental Manager to join our team. As an Environmental Manager, you will play a crucial role in integrating environmental services into our business practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee all project activities related to environmental services* Manage direct interactions with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager, and Project Executive* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and interpret construction documents and permit requirements* Supervise Environmental Consultants and Subcontractors* Obtain required certifications: Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), Caltrans Water Pollution Control Manager (WPCM)* Possess 40 Hour Hazpower training and current 8-hour Refresher or training complying with Tittle 22 CA Code of Regs § 66265.16
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree – in Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies or closely related field* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
