Job Description

GEI Consultants is seeking an experienced senior environmental scientist, geologist, or engineer to provide project management, client development, and staff coordination as part of our active environmental practice in Glastonbury, Connecticut. In service of project success and client satisfaction, this individual will author and peer review environmental reports, provide client and regulatory guidance, mentor junior staff, resolve environmental challenges on environmental, engineering and development projects, and provide project management, client management and support to ongoing office and field work. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your project and client management skills and collaborate with other environmental and engineering professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Work on a variety of environmental projects throughout the region, but primarily in Connecticut, New York and Central Massachusetts.
• Develop opportunities with clients for our environmental services including environmental investigation and remediation, and cross selling for other services including geotechnical engineering and natural resources services.
• Actively participate in industry organizations and networking events to maintain industry relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or similar Science.
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience in environmental consulting.
• CT LEP License.
• Seller/Doer mentality and experience.
• Client connections and ability to secure work opportunities.
