Environmental Litigation Attorney - PFAS Contamination

Location: California

We are seeking an experienced environmental litigation attorney to join our team, focusing on PFAS contamination cases. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in environmental law, toxic torts, or related plaintiff-side litigation, with a strong background in complex, high-profile cases involving multiple plaintiffs.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage PFAS contamination cases from intake through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies, including assessing liability, determining damages, and identifying responsible parties
• Collaborate with expert witnesses, consultants, and investigators to analyze evidence such as scientific studies, environmental reports, and medical records
• Stay informed of federal and state regulations related to PFAS and support initiatives to strengthen protections for affected communities

Qualifications & Skills
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California Bar in good standing
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental law, toxic torts, or related litigation (PFAS experience strongly preferred)
• Background in class action or mass tort litigation involving toxic substances
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including EPA standards, CERCLA, and TSCA
• Excellent research, writing, and litigation skills, with experience in depositions and trial preparation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
