Job Description

Shirley Parsons is seeking an Environmental Lead for an aerospace manufacturing company in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves ensuring environmental compliance at two facilities, managing Title V and RECLAIM programs, and conducting audits and inspections. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably in manufacturing, and a relevant degree. The position offers a salary of $110K–$120K annually and is full-time.
A leading aerospace manufacturing company is looking for an Environmental Lead to join their team near Compton, CA. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and excellence at the two manufacturing facilities nearby. Proven experience managing the Title V and RECLAIM programs is a requirement for this role.

The Role:
• Organize, implement, and audit all environmental programs and strategy at the plants, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
• Prepare and coordinate all environmental permits, reports, and related requirements for the facilities, including Title V Air, waste, and water.
• Complete environmental site inspections and audits, providing recommendations and ensuring follow-up on corrective actions.
• Act as the point of contact and subject matter expert for both regulatory agencies and operational teams.

The Candidate:
• 5+ years of environmental management experience working in a similar manufacturing environment. Aerospace experience is desired but not required.
• B.S. in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience managing a Title V permit and RELCIAM program.
• Self-starter who can work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and able to interface with employees at all levels of the organization.
