Job Description

Joinus your company is seeking an Environmental Lawyer in Sharjah, UAE. Responsibilities include advising clients on environmental regulations, drafting legal documents, representing clients in legal matters, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate should have a law degree, 3 years of experience in the UAE or GCC, and proficiency in Arabic and English. This is a full-time position in the legal services and environmental consulting sectors.
Roles & Responsibilities
An Environmental Lawyer advises clients on environmental regulations and represents them in legal matters related to pollution, natural resource management, climate change, and compliance with environmental laws at local, national, and international levels.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on compliance with UAE environmental laws and international environmental treaties.
Review and draft environmental policies, contracts, permits, and litigation documents.
Represent clients in legal proceedings involving environmental damage, pollution, land use, and sustainability compliance.
Conduct legal research on environmental regulations, climate change law, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) frameworks.
Collaborate with environmental consultants, engineers, and regulatory authorities to ensure lawful project development and implementation.
Assist in drafting legal strategies for sustainability initiatives and regulatory risk mitigation.
Keep abreast of changes in environmental legislation and provide strategic guidance to affected parties.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); specialization or coursework in Environmental Law is preferred.
3 years of relevant experience in the UAE or GCC region.
Familiarity with Sharjah and UAE environmental regulations, including EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) processes and climate policies.
Strong legal research, analysis, and drafting skills.
Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across interdisciplinary teams.
