About Us:
GWSC is an environmental justice organization focused on investing in the leadership of youth and adult residents from environmental justice communities in Fall River and New Bedford. We prioritize community-driven action that addresses issues of environmental, racial, and social justice and equity.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Excellence (40%):
• Develop and manage grant cycles, donor engagement, communication strategies, and individual giving programs.
• Oversee budget development and management, ensuring transparent financial tracking and reporting with the Executive Director and Finance Director.
• Programmatic Excellence (30%):
• Support the expansion and scaling of workforce programs such as the Green Team and Green Corps, ensuring they are inclusive, impactful, and responsive to community needs.
• Foster leadership within the community by investing in EJ residents, particularly those from historically marginalized backgrounds, through paid leadership teams and workforce development initiatives.
• Groundwork Southcoast Coordination (30%):
• Serve as a key member of GWSC's Director team, co-leading organizational development, and mission achievement.
• Ensure effective internal communications and coordination for programmatic and operational alignment.

Requirements:
• 15+ years of experience demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, program management, fundraising, grantmaking, community engagement, and deep commitment to environmental and social justice and equity.
• Lived experience in or strong ties to environmental justice communities, particularly those impacted by climate change, food insecurity, and environmental justice issues.

What We Offer:
• Competitive salary range: $77,000 – $85,000 per year
• Benefits package including 75% health and dental coverage, HRA reimbursement, FSA, 403B retirement plan, and 3% SEP IRA contributions
• Unique benefit: RestoRation (in addition to paid time off): 2 set weeks off annually paid time off and 2 weeks closed to the public for organizational reflection/work completion.
