Environmental Inspector

B2 Environmental, Inc. is hiring Environmental Inspectors in Benicia, CA, for field and office work involving inspections and monitoring of asbestos, lead-paint, and mold. Positions are available for entry-level and experienced candidates, requiring a background in sciences or construction management. Responsibilities include investigations, air monitoring, and report writing. Candidates should have strong communication skills and a valid driver's license. Full-time position with benefits and a salary range of $55,000 to $85,000.
B2 Environmental, Inc. (B2E) currently has multiple positions available, entry level and/or experienced. These positions include environmental inspections and monitoring primarily in the Northern California area, but may also include work in the Western United States. Studies in sciences related field or construction management are a plus for this position. Position will include both field work and office work and could be located in our Benicia, CA office.

Duties may include:

Performing on-site asbestos, lead-paint, mold and other regulated materials investigations;

Oversight/air monitoring the abatements activities of asbestos, lead-paint, mold remediation, and other regulated materials;

Indoor air quality investigations;

Industrial hygiene testing;

General proposal and report writing.

Preferred Qualifications. Salary based upon the following:
• 0-5 years experience - Will Train (entry level to experienced);
• Excellent reading, writing, computer/Windows/Microsoft Office, and communication skills are also necessary;
• Current certifications a plus to include: California CSST, CAC, LST, etc.;
• Current training a plus to include; Asbestos AHERA inspector, Lead sampling technician, Mold sampling technician, OSHA safety, HAZWOPER, etc.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet objectives;
• Willingness to travel regionally for short periods of time;
• Current valid driver's license and clean driving record;
