Environmental Impact Coordinator

The Environmental Impact Coordinator at Sportanddev in Italy will focus on implementing sustainability requirements across operational activities in venues. Key responsibilities include managing compliance with environmental protocols and supporting sustainable practices in venue operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in environmental sustainability and excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with diverse professionals.
The Sustainability Cluster Coordinator will play a vital role in driving the Organizing Committee's commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. This position will focus on supporting the implementation of sustainability requirements across all operational activities within competitive and non-competitive venues at the cluster level.
Main Objectives:
• To coordinate and manage the supporting activities related to the implementation of requirements (legislative and/or voluntary) set for every functional area at the cluster and venue level;
• To support the verification of respect of the Convention on Accessible Mobility (CAM) and Sustainability Protocol for Temporary Infrastructures during the entire life cycle of temporary infrastructure;
• To support functional area operations in implementing rules and guidelines related to temporary and permanent works at the venue level;

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental sustainability and social responsibility, with excellent communication and coordination skills. The ability to interact with professionals from different fields and ensure effective implementation of sustainability measures throughout the organization will be essential for success in this role.
