Senior Environmental Consultant - Job Opportunity
We are an employee-controlled international consultancy with a globally recognised reputation for providing tailored services to clients across various sectors. With close to 1000 staff and 23 technical disciplines, we offer comprehensive environmental advice and support on strategic and site-specific issues.
This exciting opportunity is for a driven Senior Environmental Consultant to join our EIA team in Perth. As part of this role, you will contribute to delivering project management, due diligence, EIA, and approval services, working closely with our teams to achieve project objectives. Our EIA team is renowned for its expertise and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental impact assessment and approvals, with experience in preparing environmental assessment documentation, advising clients on best practice environmental impact assessment principles, and ensuring project schedules and financial outcomes are achieved through effective project management.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our EIA team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing environmental assessment documentation
2. Advising clients on environmental impact assessment and management principles
3. Ensuring project schedules and financial outcomes are achieved
4. Developing and enhancing relationships with clients and internal teams
5. Working within and leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects
6. Delivering clear and precise reports
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a related field
2. A minimum 3 years' experience in Environmental Impact Assessment or Approvals
3. Working knowledge of Western Australian environmental legislation and relevant policies, standards, and guidelines
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Excellent driving history and hold a current driver's license
6. Australian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia
