Environmental Impact Analyst

UL Solutions is hiring an Environmental Impact Analyst in Marietta, GA, to support Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) services. The role involves developing LCAs per ISO standards, managing data, performing analytics, and client project management. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or engineering, 2+ years of LCA modeling experience, and fluency in Mandarin and English. This is a full-time position.
At UL Solutions, we are seeking an Environmental Impact Analyst to support our Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) services. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to advancing customer product or system environmental impacts in a transparent manner.

You will develop full LCA's per ISO Standards 14040 and ISO 14044, including data management, comparative analytics, reporting, third-party reviews, and/or reduction strategies. Additionally, you will support LCA modeling development and client project management for LCA services.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to UL Solutions' expanding LCA services team and services, perform client-facing work, and scale solutions to help customers evaluate and reduce their environmental impact.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in developing knowledge of LCA standards and methodologies, comparative analytics, regulatory and voluntary drivers, reduction strategies, and be able to perform full LCA reporting.
• Languages: Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Bachelor's Degree in scientific discipline or engineering
• 2+ years of professional experience in a position requiring LCA modeling and work involving extensive quantitative data analysis
• Working experience analyzing both experimental and modeled data sets
• Working experience modeling LCA in an LCA software like SimaPro, Gabi, OpenLCA etc.
