Job Description
Leading the Delivery of Heritage Projects

You will oversee, lead, and work with a team to deliver Aboriginal heritage-related projects, providing strategic guidance and ensuring the quality of deliverables. Key responsibilities include leading project teams, planning and delivery of fieldwork, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring that project goals are met.
Engaging with Clients and Stakeholders

You will engage with clients to understand their project requirements, provide expert advice on heritage and archaeological matters, and develop tailored solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices. Effective stakeholder engagement with both internal and external stakeholders relevant to the role is essential.
Presentation and Communication Skills

You will present technical findings and relay information to non-technical persons, including clients and community. Well-versed in heritage and archaeological legislation, regulations, and guidelines, you will apply this knowledge to assess significance, develop conservation strategies, and mitigate impacts on heritage and archaeological values.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• A degree in Cultural Heritage Management, Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience for the Principal role and 5+ years for the Senior role.
• Preferably experience in a consultancy environment.
• Knowledge of relevant State and Commonwealth heritage legislation and associated regulations and guidelines, with experience in NSW highly regarded.
• Demonstrate leadership experience, including project management and team coordination.
• Australian Driver's license (ideally with 4WD experience).
