Executive Recruiter, Senior Director of Environmental, Health & Safety
Seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to lead safety and environmental initiatives in a manufacturing setting. Must have a strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations, and be a skilled communicator who can engage cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support site-wide safety programs and culture
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/18001
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and lead root cause investigations
• Manage regulatory reporting, compliance, and inspections
• Lead injury prevention programs, environmental waste reduction efforts, and worker’s compensation claims
• Interface with regulatory agencies and manage EHS budgets
• Provide training on safety awareness, emergency response, and compliance topics
Technical Expertise:
• Behavior-based safety
• Hazardous energy control (LOTO), confined space, PPE, ergonomics, machine guarding
• Environmental compliance: waste, air, storm/wastewater, recycling, and sustainability
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years EHS experience in manufacturing
• 2+ years managing plant-level EHS programs/teams
• Strong knowledge of federal and state safety/environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
