We are seeking an HSE & Wellbeing Professional to champion workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives at the Adelaide Remand Centre. You will play a critical role in fostering a safe and positive work environment by implementing programs that protect employees and contractors while driving a culture of safety and wellbeing.

As an HSE & Wellbeing Professional, you’ll make a positive impact by:
• Implementing and maintaining HSE programs to ensure a safe workplace
• Coordinating injury management and return-to-work programs for employees
• Leading investigations into workplace incidents and implementing corrective actions
• Delivering HSE training and promoting a proactive safety culture
• Conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance workplace safety

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
• A Diploma or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
• Strong e xperience in workplace health, safety, and environmental roles, preferably in a multi-disciplinary setting
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, compliance, and injury management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• RTW (Return to Work) qualification and “Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing” certification
