Summary:

Meta is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our dynamic Data Center Facility Operations team. Our data centers are the backbone of our products, catering to our customers' needs. As the EHS Manager, you will collaborate with our global EHS team and local data center management to foster a culture of safety and compliance across our facilities, ensuring the well-being of all employees and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive health and safety training for onsite employees and contingent workers, maintaining precise training records. Ensure adherence to all local, state, federal, and corporate health, safety, and environmental regulations, managing necessary documentation. Provide strategic direction to contracted services to uphold EHS standards. Build and nurture positive cross-functional relationships with site teams to align on strategic priorities. Collaborate with vendors to maintain EHS compliance onsite. Assist in creating and refining organization-wide EHS standards and guidelines. Develop site-specific plans for the effective management of global EHS standards. Foster a site safety culture that encourages participation from site leadership and team members. Oversee day-to-day EHS operations, collaborating with relevant EHS professionals during construction activities. Play an active role in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and injury management. Maintain operational safety programs, including inspections and equipment exchanges. Review and evaluate site work procedures for risk levels and mitigation strategies. Contribute to the design and development of facilities and work procedures, offering valuable health, safety, and environmental recommendations. Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety field. BS degree in safety or health sciences or a related discipline, with 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of the 7+ years. Demonstrated experience in program development, management, and execution. Proven track record in leading incident investigations and developing mitigation strategies. Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety field. Experience in a mission-critical environment. Knowledge of NFPA 70E, federal regulations management, and environmental permitting processes. EHS certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) or equivalent international agency. Experience or familiarity with procedure-based work. Compensation:

$118,000/year to $170,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
