About the Role

As an Environmental/Health/Safety, Facilities, & Maintenance Co-op, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of employees and the environment at GE Aerospace. This hands-on internship will enable you to develop valuable leadership and technical skills while working on pressing, real-world challenges. You will have opportunities to engage with fellow interns, collaborate with experienced leaders, and position yourself for a potential full-time role in our leadership programs following graduation.

You'll be placed in one of our 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations, with consideration given to your preferences, major, and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

In this co-op role, you will:
• Assist in workforce initiatives to safeguard the health and safety of employees and the community.
• Contribute to environmental compliance efforts, including wastewater management, waste disposal, and air quality regulations.
• Engage in industrial hygiene practices, hazard assessments, and risk management strategies.
• Promote sustainable processes to meet EHS requirements.
• Foster occupational health and wellness initiatives.

This opportunity is perfect for individuals interested in pursuing our Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) upon graduation.

Qualifications
• Previous experience as an intern at GE Aerospace is mandatory.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must be enrolled in a full-time, nationally accredited bachelor's or graduate program (related majors listed below).
• Ability and willingness to work in any of our U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation needed, as many sites are not accessible via public transit.

Benefits

Pay starts at $20/hour and increases with each completed undergraduate year. We also offer relocation support and housing assistance for those moving to a new city.
