Job Summary

As a co-op at GE Aerospace, you'll immerse yourself in the future of flight, gaining valuable leadership and technical skills in a fast-paced supply chain and manufacturing environment. Through this role, you will tackle real-world challenges, establish relationships with peers and leaders, and pave your way toward a promising career in our leadership programs or directly in a full-time position post-graduation.

You'll be assigned to locations across the U.S., tailoring placements to your preferences, major, educational year, and organizational needs.

Essential Responsibilities

In this EHS-focused track, you will contribute to initiatives aimed at safeguarding the health and safety of GE Aerospace employees and the broader community. Your responsibilities may include:
• Implementing industrial hygiene practices and hazard assessments.
• Environmental management, including wastewater and waste disposal compliance.
• Addressing workplace ergonomics and safety concerns.
• Coaching teams to develop sustainable EHS processes.
• Pursuing innovations in sustainability related to air quality in manufacturing.
• Fostering a culture of occupational health and wellness.

This co-op offers a meaningful path for those interested in pursuing our Operations Management Leadership Program after graduation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Prior GE Aerospace intern experience required.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Full-time enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program (listed majors below).
• Willingness to work at any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation is necessary; many locations lack public transit options.

Degrees Accepted:
• Chemical Engineering
• Environmental Health and Safety or related fields
• Environmental Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Facilities or Maintenance Engineering
• Occupational Safety and Health

Other relevant or similar majors may also be considered.

Eligibility Requirements:

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we do not sponsor employment visas for this position.
