Environmental Health Officer/Trainee Environmental Health Officer
We are seeking 2 x full time Environmental Health Officers / Trainee Environmental Health Officers to join the Pollution Team and 1 x part time Environmental Health Officer to join the Food Safety Team in our busy Environmental Health Department. The posts of Environmental Health Officer are generic, and you may be required to undertake Environmental Health duties as part of the Food Safety, Environmental Protection and Health and Safety teams.

You will be required to proactively engage with businesses and stakeholders to enable the Environmental Health Department to develop and deliver a high quality, cost effective and efficient service aimed at securing compliance with legislation, guidance, and best practice in line with Council policies and procedures.
You will be expected to provide advice on technical, legislative and enforcement matters relating to Environmental Health.
You will be enthusiastic, committed, self-motivated and have a ‘can-do’ attitude, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
