AKKODIS is seeking an Environmental Health Officer for a 6-week contract in Western Sydney, Australia. Are you passionate about community wellbeing and environmental sustainability? We’re currently seeking a dedicated Environmental Health Officer (Technical) for a 6-week contract role with an immediate start.

In this role, you'll play a key part in promoting and protecting public health through the delivery of critical environmental health programs and initiatives. The position requires a strong understanding of public health legislation and a proactive approach to health education, inspection, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct scheduled health inspections across food premises, cooling towers, infection-risk sites, and sewerage systems to meet compliance targets
• Deliver community-focused environmental health education programs
• Support sustainability initiatives and implement improvement actions
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time
• Coordinate and support volunteer programs where required, following relevant policies and training
