Sr. Construction Safety Manager

Location: Snellville, Georgia
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols and compliance at various construction sites and facilities. This role focuses on daily inspections, safety training, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in construction safety management and is skilled in fostering a positive safety culture among multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily safety inspections at a variety of locations, including:
• Bridges
• Culverts
• General construction sites
• Asphalt laydown areas
• Shops and plant facilities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA, DOT, MSHA, and EPA.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientations.
• Collaborate with HR on workers’ compensation claims and safety-related matters.
• Inspect operations, equipment, and machinery for potential hazards.
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to enforce safety policies.
• Provide technical and administrative guidance for safety and health programs.
• Order and manage specialized safety equipment as needed.

Qualifications:
• Must-have experience conducting safety inspections on construction sites, including bridges, culverts, asphalt work, shops, and plant facilities.
• Minimum of 3+ years in construction safety management.
• Certifications such as OSHA 510/511 and OSHA 500/501 preferred.
• Additional credentials like STS-C, CHST, or OSHT are a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

This role requires spending the majority of your time in the field, ensuring safety compliance and maintaining a strong safety culture at all job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
