Job Description

Randstad USA is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety Manager for their manufacturing facility in Fairfield, OH. The role involves developing and maintaining EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a safety culture. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in workplace safety and a Bachelor's degree. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and compliance initiatives at our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards while fostering a culture of safety. The ideal candidate will have an experienced background in workplace safety(7+ years), risk assessment, and environmental compliance within a manufacturing setting. You must have a Bachelor's Degree to be considered. Relocation is available if applicable. salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
• Drive Compliance with Standards, Regulations & Safety Improvement Plans
• Perform program & policy audits regularly to ensure regulations are reflected into pre-existing programs or generated
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and recommend changes in procedures, practices, and methods to prevent recurrence
• Effectively communicate investigation findings to the Plant Manager and Safety Director through the creation of corrective action plans, change in product designs, and procedure updates from incidents are communicated to affected employees
• Utilize knowledge of root cause analysis & Fault Tree Analysis to evaluate design issues, electrical modular configuration challenges and method of procedures to improve processes
• Contribute and implement HSE loss control and environmental protection plans
• Work effortlessly with all levels of the organization and lead manufacturing and office employees on all related health, safety, and environmental matters
• Conduct worksite assessments to determine risks, assess hazards and controls methods, maintain, and evaluate site incident and loss records and develop emergency response plans
• Ensure effective training programs are in place
• Responsible for developing content for company specific safety and environmental training programs and will lead classroom sessions virtually and in person
• BCSP Qualified Credential: ASP or CSP preferred
• Arc Flash program/ electrical safety experience preferred
