Job Description
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Senior Coordinator at Olsson will implement safety plans, ensure compliance with regulations, and advise teams on EHS matters. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in safety management. Candidates must be located in Lincoln, Omaha, North Kansas City, or Overland Park. As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Senior Coordinator you will implement plans and procedures to achieve the teams objectives to ensure a safe working environment for employees to deliver highquality projects effectively. You will perform routine EHS assignments according to established guidelines while using knowledge of the organization processes and procedures to develop solutions in nonstandard situations. You will advise technical teams and leadership on daily EHS matters and provide solutions for complex matters. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations workers compensation management ability to read analyze and interpret general business documents contracts and technical procedures. Overnight travel may be required.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Lincoln NE Omaha NE North Kansas City MO or Overland Park KS office locations.

• Independently provides solutions to resolve complex situations related to the EHS matters.
• Contribution to the development of safety programs related policies and procedures.
• Experience in developing and leading environment health and safety training.
• Proficiency in Office 365 products (Outlook Teams Word Excel) as well as webbased programs.
• CPR/First Aid certification and OSHA instructor certifications are preferred.
• Bachelors degree in safety management business or a related area is preferred.
• Minimum 610 years of experience in the safety and/or construction industry.
